Observant. Perfectionist. Critical.
Toki usually notices the smallest details in things, whether it is the tiniest flaw in the sewing pattern or action done by a person. It could be a good or bad trait, but he would prefer to take it as a good thing, since it is such a useful trait. He could read people a little more easily and make his judgement or decision beforehand instead of being unprepared or having to fix any mistakes afterwards. Ever since Toki was small, he was raised to do things perfectly, and it stuck to him even till this day. If it's not close to 'perfect', then he would keep trying until it is. The only thing he half gave up on is cooking. As a perfectionist, Toki is very critical of himself (his own flaws) - because he likes impressing people - as well as others.

Sensitive. Sassy. Selfish.
Like the Virgo he is, Toki tends to worry a lot and overthink things. So when people talk smack about him, he will be thinking about it a lot - such as why people would think such a thing, what he could do to prevent it from happening again, and maybe something to retaliate in a non-violent way (he dislikes violence). He tries not to show his vulnerable or emotional side ever, since he thinks people can easily takes advantage of it, so he keeps a calm an collected expression (or smile even if it's fake) most of the time. Normally, Toki tries to think logically rather than let his emotions take over. However, even though he may seem to be all smiles, flowery and cutesy behind cameras/lens or in front of the paparazzi and fans, Toki has his attitude problems.

Stubborn. Defensive. Uptight.
Toki dislikes being in the wrong and will usually deny it or find some way to defend himself or his views. When he makes up his mind, he normally doesn't go back on it. So people have a hard time persuading him into changing his views sometimes. Toki is actually rather serious and passionate with his job and things he does (a workaholic too), so he can be a little uptight and doesn't know how to have fun (aside from shopping, visiting cafés and watching his Sailor Moon DVDs).

Loyal. Possessive. Protective.
Despite his sassy attitude and flamboyant appearance, Toki is really loyal and faithful. He never hesitates to help a friend who need it. And when he is in a relationship, he doesn't cheat or have affairs, but will expect the same from his partner as well (Toki will not tolerate cheating, ever). Hell, he rarely even flirts when he's single, unless it's with someone he is genuinely interested in. But when he dates someone, he is rather possessive of them and wants others to know that said person belongs to him. Having one niece and two nephews also made him discover his protective side, he will do anything to prevent them from getting harmed.

Toki was raised in a rather strict and prideful Japanese household of doctors, lawyers and nurses that did not accept any failure. Both his brother and him had always done exceptionally well in school to please their parents. Despite how much their parents wanted them to continue the tradition in being doctors, Toki had passion for other things. His notebook would be filled with doodles of clothes and designs and he even asked his mother to teach him sewing and knitting for the first time (which he came to love doing). Even though he liked doing all these uncharacteristic things his father would disapprove, Toki still did in secretly in his room and hid everything way in the back of the closet.

Toki was also kind of the geeky outcast back then, even had braces to make it even more so. But after he removed his braces during senior year of high school and fixed his appearance a little with a bit of experimentation of simple clothes he made on his own, Toki's popularity shot up. But even before the new change, Toki has always been rather attached to one of the male teachers who was always so nice and caring towards him, unlike his father who was always so strict and harsh. His feelings somehow developed into something more than a crush. Fortunate for him, his feelings were finally reciprocated after a while of pursuing, but unfortunately, before graduation, his father caught him one night when his teacher was driving Toki home and gave him rather heated kiss. The teacher resigned his job and fled while Toki was disowned for being such a disgrace for the family, despite how much his mother and brother were against this decision.

Toki wasn't sure whether to consider that a good or bad thing at first, since he had no home to go to from that day on. But he managed and made ends meet from small part-time jobs while using the money his mother secretly gave him to go to college in San Francisco instead of staying in Northern Ireland. He guessed he could say it was kind of good thing he was 'kicked out' of home, because now his father wouldn't be here to stop him from pursuing his dream job. Working his way up from the bottom took a lot of time, but through his effort and the right connections, he finally landed himself a promising career as a fashion designer. For people who know of him/his work, Toki is known to designed for a variety of styles, but mostly fairy kei, lolita, gothic pastel, victorian, and sometimes casual (hipster) clothes.

Voice. Accent. Languages.
Toki's voice (AKA seiyuu KENN). Since Toki was born in Northern Ireland, the accent is stuck with him. He also only speaks two languages - Japanese and English.

Cooking.
It would best to avoid letting Toki in the kitchen (aside from pouring water and drinks or fetching pre-made snacks/food). The food he tries to cook usually end up being inedible sometimes might even be poisoned even when he has no intention of poisoning anyone and there will always be a mess somewhere. But seriously, he means no harm! Ahahah...ha...

Habits.
* His tail wags a lot when he is excited or happy, like a dog almost.
* Whenever he is upset, he gets a strong urge to clean (unlike cooking, he is rather good with cleaning) and then watch Sailor Moon after.
* Toki always wears shorts (either accompanied with stockings, leggings, tights or leaving his legs bare) and rarely ever wears long pants.

* Has a baby face so he looks much younger than his real age. Toki actually doesn't mind that fact and takes advantage of it usually, because he dislikes being called old. Plus, he never reveals his real age in interviews.
